Job summary

Convoy of Hope is seeking a Donor Engagement Reserve Staff member for part-time, flex scheduling to support donor activity, campaigns, and disaster responses. The role involves handling donations, donor records, and communications with care and alignment to the organization's voice and values.

Responsibilities include donor outreach, data entry, gift acknowledgments, and responsive service across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a customer service role is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to manage difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and good listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming phone calls and assists donors with donations, account updates, general questions, and troubleshooting needs.
• Places outbound calls and emails for donor follow-up, engagement, thank-you, and impact-of-giving conversations.
• Responds to donor emails via Donations and Info and Donor Dashboard inquiries.
• Engages first-time donors through personalized thank-you calls.
• Updates and maintains donor records in Salesforce or other systems.
• Processes gift acknowledgments including handwritten cards, letters, emails, and tax receipts.
