Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul Long Island is seeking a part-time Dock Associate for our Huntington thrift store. You will unload donations, assist with initial sorting, and help maintain a clean, organized dock area during store hours 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, physical fitness for lifting 25–50 lbs, and a reliable, team-oriented approach. Experience in warehouses or donation centers is a plus, and full benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand and follow safety instructions in English.
• Comfort with basic material handling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and unload donations from vehicles.
• Organize dock/back-room and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with initial sorting and prepare items for processing.
