Job summary

Goodwill Central Coast is seeking a dock associate to load and unload donations, perform initial sorting, and transport materials to processing areas. The role requires basic English communication and comfort with material handling equipment.

Training is provided on-the-job in a busy dock environment with variable weather. Responsibilities include assisting with baler/compactor use where applicable, maintaining safe work practices, and cooperating with teammates to meet daily donation processing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math abilities required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Basic English communication; some Spanish may be acceptable depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and trailers with materials for delivery to stores.
• Off-load donations from trucks and trailers and place in designated areas.
• Perform initial donation processing before distribution to processing departments.
