Job summary

Allied Universal in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with an active DoD Secret clearance to monitor facilities, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service at an aerospace and defense location.

Flexible Day/Night schedule offered; competitive pay of $21.04 per hour and opportunities for growth while strictly following site procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
