Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Buffalo, NY. The role involves patrolling, monitoring, and protecting clients across multiple industries, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible presence on site.

You will work a structured schedule with day and night shifts and may participate in the Claim a Shift program to explore new roles. A DoD Secret clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or eligibility required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, and perimeter to deter threats.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting irregularities to site contacts and leadership.
• Complete activity reports and shift communications with accurate details.
