Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard (Part Time) in Buffalo, NY to provide security and customer service at an aerospace/defense site. You will patrol, maintain a visible presence, and follow site policies while assisting visitors and personnel.

The position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work day shifts. CPR/First Aid are preferred; expect background checks and a drug screen as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document entries and exits per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs.
