The State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles, is seeking a part-time DMV Lobby Security Guard in Nashua, NH. The role focuses on monitoring lobby activities, ensuring safety, and enforcing laws and policies across DMV facilities.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of education/experience and a valid driver’s license. Trainee status available with pay starting at $17.19 per hour, up to $23.39 per hour for standard

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Valid driver’s license.
• May be required to work a flexible schedule including including mornings, evenings and/or weekends.
• May travel throughout the State and work at various satellite offices.

Responsibilities

• Monitors lobby security and safety at DMV facilities.
• Conducts patrols of buildings, grounds and parking lots for safety
• Responds to alarms, emergencies and assists customers and staff.
• Reports threats to Directors and coordinates with law enforcement.
• Prepares daily logs and incident reports.
• Directs the public at entry points and provides general information.
• Assists during evacuations and emergencies.
• Maintains professional appearance and de-escalation as needed.
• Travels to DMV substations as needed.
