Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. in Cypress, CA is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support meal service for residents while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, transport wares to the kitchen, and assist with kitchen cleanup, ensuring all sanitation standards are met. Training and reliable team players are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and dining ware.
• Ability to transport dishes to the kitchen after meals and mealtimes.
• Clear, wash, sanitize, and restock dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Adhere to sanitary and safety standards; comply with health screenings.
• Must have or obtain first aid training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of major kitchen equipment and for washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing china, glass, and utensils.
• Transport all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes.
• Properly clearing, washing, sanitizing, and restocking all dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Properly washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
• Returning dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas.
• Breaking down kitchen for clean up and maintaining safety standards.

What we need from you:

• Ensure cleanliness of major kitchen equipment and for washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing China, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils by:
• Transporting all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes
• Properly clearing, washing, sanitizing, and restocking all dishes, silverware, and glassware
• Properly washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
• Returning dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas
• Breaking down kitchen for clean up
• Ensure all sanitary and safety standards are met
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
