Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring a Direct Support Professional for IDD services in White Oak, PA. This PT Day role pays $16.00/hour with on-demand pay and requires a valid driver's license.

You’ll support participants with daily living, personal hygiene, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition; build meaningful relationships; and grow with a stable, mission-driven team. A high school diploma and 6 months in human services are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support participants with developmental needs.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and daily living tasks.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build real, meaningful relationships and promote independence.
