Association for Individual Development (AID) is hiring a Direct Support Professional in South Elgin, IL for the 2nd shift. The DSP supports clients with daily living activities, documents individualized strategies, and ensures safety and dignity in daily care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• CNA certification or Autism Certificate desired.
• Experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a team approach with clients, staff, and outside agencies.
• Implement programs from Individual Plans and document per procedures.
• Attend to client meals, self-care needs, and diet requirements.
• Obtain and maintain medication administration authorization at a location.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in homes and vehicles.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed and monitor medical information.
