Association for Individual Development (AID) is seeking a Direct Support Professional Substitute in Aurora, IL. The role supports individuals with various needs, implementing strategies and documenting services across sites with flexible afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED; CNA or Autism Certificate is desirable, and experience with developmentally disabled adults is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA or Autism Certificate desired.
• Experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a team approach with clients, staff, and outside agencies.
• Implement programs from the Individual Plan and document per procedures.
• Attend to client care, including meals, hygiene, and activities per plan.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in all assigned locations.
