Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. This role focuses on compassionate, hands-on support in daily activities.

As a DSP, you’ll follow care plans, assist with personal care, encourage community participation, and may travel between residential and day programs. The position is part-time with a starting wage of $18/hour. Paid training and a supportive team atmosphere are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in disability services is a plus, but training is provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record or related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress; administer medications per policy.
