Chimes, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges, seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, hands-on assistance and to help clients live with dignity and independence.

You’ll follow individualized care plans, document progress, help with daily living activities, and support community engagement. This entry‑level role offers paid training, growth opportunities, and a team‑oriented work culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required—we train.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles may require travel and support from Residential to Day programs.
