Job summary

The Chimes, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Vincent Farm (Tues, Weds & Sun 8a-8p). The DSP helps individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges live with dignity, independence, and confidence in a supportive, team-focused setting.

Starting at $20.25/hour, the role offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities for growth. You will follow care plans, document progress, assist with daily living tasks, and support community engagement in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving history

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress
• Administer medications in accordance with policy
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
• Use approved behavior support techniques
• Encourage community engagement and participation
• Some DSP roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs
