Job summary

Braverhood is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one in-home and community support, helping individuals achieve personal goals and maintain independence.

You will document services, follow agency and OPWDD requirements, and collaborate with families and teams to promote safety and well-being. This part-time role offers flexible schedules, paid training, PTO, and meaningful, rewarding work every day.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with special needs preferred.
• Experience with children or young adults preferred.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
• U.S. Citizen or valid work authorization.
• Paid DSP training after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in the home and community.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals.
• Encourage communication, socialization, and independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Document services and progress.
• Follow agency and OPWDD requirements.
