Job summary

Braverhood in New York is seeking a Part-Time DSP (Direct Support Professional) to provide one-on-one support in home and community settings. You will help individuals achieve personal goals, encourage communication, socialization and independence, and document services and progress.

Responsibilities include following agency and OPWDD requirements, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring compassionate, reliable care. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.
• Experience with children or young adults preferred.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle REQUIRED.
• U.S. Citizen or valid work authorization.
• Complete required paid DSP training after hire.
