Job summary

Braverhood is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support in home and community settings, helping individuals achieve personal goals and develop independence. The role requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with responsibilities including documenting services and following agency guidelines.

The position offers paid training, PTO, and flexible schedules on weekdays and/or weekends, making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.
• Experience with children or young adults preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
• Reliable transportation.
• U.S. Citizen or valid work authorization.
• Complete required paid DSP training after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in the home and community.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals.
• Encourage communication, socialization, and independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Document services and progress.
• Follow agency and OPWDD requirements.
