Simpson is seeking a Dining Server in our senior living community to deliver courteous, efficient dining service to residents, honoring dietary needs and preferences. This part-time role supports a warm, inclusive environment and requires a friendly, professional approach.

You will take orders, serve meals, reset tables, and assist with menu choices while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Flexible weekend shifts and after-school availability are ideal for high school students.

Qualifications

• Work Environment: Retirement community providing service to senior adults in independent, assisted and skilled nursing community.
• Education: Enrolled in High School or High School Diploma, must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience: Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
• Safety: Follow hygiene and safety protocols in handling food and dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Dining Service: Take food and beverage orders, serve meals, and assist residents with menu choices.
• Customer Service: Interact with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Menu Knowledge: Explain menu options and make recommendations based on dietary needs.
• Dietary Restrictions: Ensure accurate orders and appropriate substitutions when needed.
• Sanitation and Safety: Maintain cleanliness and report hazards.
