Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dining Room Server/Dishwasher in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on delivering high-quality meal service and maintaining a gracious environment for residents.

Key duties include accurate order taking, relaying orders to the back of the house, and providing exceptional resident service while observing dietary needs and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• English literacy required.
• Prior experience in dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary environment.
• Oversee bistro areas: food presentation, cleanliness, supplies, beverages.
• Know the specials and how they are prepared.
• Learn resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Serve hot meals hot and cold meals cold.
• Attend trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
