Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Parker, CO is seeking a part-time Dining Room Server to deliver high-quality meals and gracious service to residents. Expect accurate order taking, communication with back-of-house staff, and a welcoming environment.

You will be present in dining room during full meal service, maintain cleanliness, learn residents' dietary needs, and participate in trainings. This role offers benefits after meeting eligibility and a culture rooted in servant-leadership.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Previous experience in dietary or dining service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection free environment at all times.
• Oversight of bistro areas as directed – food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, make popcorn, etc.
• Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
• As directed, participate in the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.
• Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
