Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a friendly Part-Time Server to create meaningful dining experiences for residents. You will work with a collaborative team, respond to feedback, and contribute to a caring community environment.

The role emphasizes serving in Casual and Fine Dining, maintaining dining room standards, and supporting residents with meals and service needs. No prior experience is required, and eligibility includes age 15+ with English communication ability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• No prior work experience required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment; guidance provided by Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and meeting service needs.
• Greet tables in Fine Dining, guide menu selections, take orders, and serve courses from beverages to desserts.
• Clear and reset tables, handle dishes, refill water, and set tables before meals.
• Vacuum carpets, clean the salad bar, and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and collect trays with a friendly attitude.
• Listen to resident comments or concerns and relay feedback to management.
• Provide support across tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
