Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a Part-Time Server to create meaningful dining experiences for seniors in a collaborative team setting. You will assist in casual and fine dining, greet residents, take orders, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining environment.

No prior work experience is required, and opportunities exist to grow in a supportive, purpose-driven community with a family-owned feel across 60+ communities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by warmly greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, taking orders, and serving courses from beverages to desserts.
• Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, filling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
• Jump in and help where needed by completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
