Job summary

Cornerstone Management is seeking a Dining Assistant on a part-time basis to provide friendly food service to residents in our senior living communities in Great Falls, MT. You will assist with meal prep, serving, and dining room setup while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, experience with older adults, and strong communication and reliability. The role emphasizes resident-centered care and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School education/GED or previous work experience.
• Experience in working with older adults.
• Sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Punctual with a good attendance record.
• Strong interpersonal communication with residents, families, staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating meals according to menu and standards.
• Support safe food handling practices, including hygiene, temperature control, and food storage.
• Set up dining room, serve meals, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining experience for residents.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain cleanliness of dishware, kitchen tools, and dining areas.
• Follow cleaning protocols and assist with waste disposal and recycling.
• Communicate with residents and respond to dining requests with care and professionalism.
