Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. seeks a Part-Time SAT Verbal Tutor focused on the Reading and Writing sections of the digital SAT. You will conduct one-on-one sessions addressing vocabulary, grammar, and evidence-based reading, adapting to the digital format using Bluebook and other tools.

Sessions can be in-home, online across New Jersey, or at our Livingston office. Availability for after-school, evenings, and weekends is preferred, with travel within NJ as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise with the digital SAT Verbal sections, including Reading and Writing modules, Bluebook app proficiency, and adaptive questions.
• Strong content knowledge in English language conventions, grammar, vocabulary, and rhetorical skills.
• Demonstrated student score improvements on SAT verbal sections; able to share concrete examples.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, education, linguistics, or related fields; teaching certification is a plus.
