Job summary

Teacher Tutors is seeking a Part-Time SAT Math Tutor to support students preparing for the digital SAT Math section. Sessions may occur at students' homes, online, or at our Livingston, NJ office, with travel within a preferred radius.

You will deliver personalized, one-on-one tutoring focused on algebra, functions, geometry, data analysis, and problem-solving, using Bluebook and other digital tools to adapt to the post-March 2024 format.

Qualifications

• Proven SAT Math tutoring experience with digital SAT post-March 2024.
• Strong algebra, functions, nonlinear equations, geometry & data analysis knowledge.
• Track record of improving SAT Math scores with demonstrable examples.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in math or education; teaching certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication with high school students and parents.
• Flexible availability after school, evenings, and weekends around peak test dates.
• Familiar with educational tech including Zoom/Google Meet and progress tracking tools.
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions within travel radius.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, one-on-one SAT Math tutoring tailored to each student's strengths and weaknesses.
• Cover algebra, functions, nonlinear equations, data analysis, geometry, and problem solving.
• Utilize digital tools (Bluebook, Zoom/Meet) to navigate the digital SAT format and adapt to assessments.
