Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join its healthcare team at facilities in West Monroe, LA area, supporting Franklin Medical Center and Richardson Medical Center. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, interventions to improve status, and enhancing quality of life for patients/residents.

The position is 8–12 hours per week, onsite, with a strong emphasis on following dietetics standards and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024).
• Master’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passes a national exam by CDR or meets AND eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
