Job summary
UnityPoint Health is seeking a Part Time Dietitian to deliver nutritional care for Siouxland PACE participants as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role involves assessing needs, planning and implementing care, and reporting results.
Flexible hours occur Monday through Friday as part of the PACE Day Center team. The dietitian will maintain professional competencies and collaborate with care providers, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local nutrition regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in dietetics or equivalent per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics guidelines.
- Registered Dietitian status or eligibility with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Internship or coordinated program completed per ADA guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assess nutritional needs and develop care plans.
- Provide nutrition care as part of the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Implement and monitor nutrition interventions.
- Document participant information in the EMR.
- Attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings and participate in care planning.
- Comply with applicable PACE regulations and policies.
