MediLodge of Frankenmuth is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team. No experience required; training provided. You will help prepare and serve meals for residents and staff, maintain safe food handling practices, and support a clean, organized kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.
• Experience in food service is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for meals, snacks, and special events.
• Uses standardized recipes to prepare items and ensures appealing presentation.
• Delivers meals to designated areas according to schedules.
• Maintains proper food temperatures during preparation and service.
• Serves meals according to diet orders and preferences.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly.
• Keeps work area clean and uncluttered during service and cleanup.
• Assists in receiving, storing, and verifying invoices for food and supplies.
• Ensures adequate stock levels and reports shortages.
• Operates and maintains equipment safely and promptly reports issues.

Education

Tenth grade or above desirable
