Job summary

MediLodge of Sterling is hiring a Part-Time Dietary Aide with no experience required. You will assist in preparing and serving meals for residents and staff, following Safe Food Handling guidelines and ensuring meals meet dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for meals, snacks, and events using proper food handling techniques.
• Ensures meals are delivered to designated areas on schedule.
• Maintains proper food temperatures and records temperatures on logs.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly to prevent spoilage.
• Keeps work area clean and uncluttered during preparation and service.
• Assists in receiving and stocking food, supplies, and invoices as directed.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment safely and reports problems promptly.
• Works as part of a team to provide high-quality food service to residents and staff.
