Job summary

MediLodge of Marshall is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team. No experience is required, and you will assist with meal prep, service, and resident comfort, while following safe food handling practices.

You will work with a supportive team in a clean dining environment, learn about therapeutic diets and daily duties, and contribute to a positive resident experience. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are available with MediLodge.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets and for staff and events.
• Uses standardized recipes to prepare items and ensures meals are attractive.
• Delivers meals and snacks on time to designated areas.
• Maintains proper temperatures during preparation and service and records temperatures.
• Serves meals per diet orders and preferences.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly.
• Maintains clean work area and follows cleaning procedures.
• Assists in receiving and verifying invoices for food supplies.
