Job summary

MediLodge Traverse City is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food prep and service for residents and staff. No experience is required, and you will learn proper food handling and safety practices while supporting daily meals and events.

Qualifications

• Tenth grade or above desirable.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred.
• Experience in food service desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre portions food for meals, staff, and events using proper food handling techniques.
• Uses standardized recipes and serves meals according to the planned menu.
• Keeps dishes clean and ensures temperatures are recorded and maintained.
• Delivers meals to designated areas on time and maintains food safety standards.
• Maintains clean work areas and assists with stocking and receiving supplies.
• Assists in inventory and communicates stock levels to supervisor.
