Job summary

Pleasantlake in is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for Food Services. The role reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and supports meal preparation, tray assembly, dishwashing, and serving activities.

The position requires learning the food service routines quickly and maintaining sanitation and orderly work areas. Responsibilities include assisting with nourishments, operating the dishwasher, recording dishwashing parameters, and supporting dietary staff orientation and training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to learn food service routine within a short period.
• Set up meal trays.
• Must strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at the beginning of shift.
