Job summary

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines within a short period.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record water temperatures and chlorine levels of dishwashing area.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and maintain floors.
• Carry out trash and garbage and restock groceries.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Collaborate with Cook and Dietary supervisor as needed.
