Job summary

MediLodge of GTC is hiring a Part-Time Dietary Aide with no experience required. You will assist with food preparation and service for residents and staff, following safety procedures and diet orders.

Responsibilities include meal prep, portioning, serving, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Flexible scheduling options and supportive team environment are offered to help you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Tenth grade or above desirable.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred, or other food safety certification as required in state or county.
• Experience in food service desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu and events.
• Uses standardized recipes to prepare items and serves meals attractively.
• Delivers meals to designated areas on established time schedules.
• Maintains proper food temperatures during preparation and service and records temperatures.
• Keeps work area clean and uncluttered during preparation and service.
• Assists in receiving, storing, and verifying invoices for food and supplies.
