Job summary

MediLodge of Ludington is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide with no experience required. You will assist with food preparation and service for residents, following safety guidelines, and support daily dining operations.

You will work in a caring team, interact with residents and families, and help maintain clean dining areas. This role offers stable hours, paid training, and opportunities for growth within MediLodge.

Qualifications

Tenth grade or above desirable.
ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred, or other state/county food safety cert.
Experience in food service desired.

Responsibilities

Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu.
Utilizes standardized recipes to prepare menu items and ensure attractive presentation.
Delivers meals and snacks to designated areas on time according to schedules.
Maintains proper temperatures during preparation and service and logs temperatures.
Serves resident meals/snacks according to diet orders and preferences.
Keeps work area clean and uncluttered during preparation and service.
Operates and maintains equipment safely and reports problems promptly.
Assists in ensuring adequate stock and stores items properly.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
