Job summary

Scottdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Scottdale, PA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Dietary Aide/Cook to support nutritious meals for residents in our 35-bed facility. The role involves therapeutic diets, large-scale meal preparation, and collaboration with dietary staff and nursing teams.

Shifts are 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, 16–24 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays. ServSafe preferred but not required; training provided. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and standardized production sheets.
• Understanding of sanitation practices and basic kitchen safety.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care with knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and standardized recipes.
• Serve meals that meet resident dietary restrictions and physician-ordered diet modifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and food storage areas per health regulations.
• Assist in inventory, labeling and storing food and supplies as necessary.
• Work cooperatively with dietary staff and nursing team.
