Letort Spring Nursing and Rehab in Carlisle, PA is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. You will work with the dietary team to support food service operations and ensure residents receive meals in a timely, safe, and courteous manner while following established dietary, sanitation, and food safety procedures.

The position is part-time with opportunities to assist the Cook, help with meal prep, dishwashing, and keeping the kitchen clean and sanitary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable and committed to providing quality service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving meals in a timely manner.
• Assist the Cook with meal preparation and food service duties.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen areas.
• Serve food trays from carts and dining rooms and transport trays to the dishwashing area.
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow all dietary, sanitation, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.
