Job summary

North Star Initiative in Lancaster County, PA, is seeking a part-time Design & Communications Coordinator to advance its mission of restoring women from trafficking through compelling print and digital materials.

You will develop written, graphic, and video content, manage email campaigns, websites, and social channels, and collaborate with staff and volunteers to promote fundraising events.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, marketing, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• 1–3 years of marketing, communications, social media management, graphic design, or related field
• Experience with email marketing platforms, website CMS, social media tools, and marketing analytics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing and communications initiatives that support North Star Initiative’s mission, fundraising, initiatives, and events.
• Create compelling written, graphic, and video content for digital and print platforms, including social media, email marketing, websites, and publications.
• Manage North Star’s digital communication channels, ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
• Design and produce marketing materials, event collateral, presentations, and other branded assets.
• Implement marketing campaigns and communication plans across multiple channels.
• Coordinate promotion, content creation, and storytelling for fundraising and community engagement events.
• Develop email marketing campaigns and assist with website updates and optimization.
