Job summary

42 North Dental in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our team. The schedule features two Saturdays per month from 7 AM to 12 PM, with other duties including exams, treatment planning, and patient education as part of the full clinical patient experience.

Our practice offers in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, along with competitive benefits and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments via continuing education
