Job summary

42 North Dental in New Jersey seeks a licensed Dentist (DMD or DDS) to join our established practice. This part-time role includes two Saturday shifts per month and a 7:00 AM–12:00 PM schedule, with benefits available for eligible hours.

You will deliver comprehensive dental care, from exams and planning to restorative and surgical procedures, working within periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. Join our team committed to patient-focused care and ongoing CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
