Job summary

42 North Dental in New Jersey is seeking a Dentist to lead the entire clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This part-time position covers a schedule of Labor Day to Memorial Day plus two Saturdays per month from 7AM to 12PM. Benefits are available for full-time hours, with opportunities for CE and professional growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patient medical and dental records.
• Review x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standard of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
