Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam through treatment delivery. The practice offers a wide range of in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role requires DMD or DDS, an active state dental license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Benefits include health/dental/vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality and ethical standards of care.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
