Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care, from exams and treatment planning to restorative and surgical procedures. The role supports a strong patient flow in an established practice with emphasis on prevention and education.

The position requires a DMD or DDS, an active state license, Hepatitis B vaccination documentation, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Involves in-office procedures across multiple specialties and CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education
