Job summary
42 North Dental in New Jersey is seeking a part-time dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from examination to treatment, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics.
A strong patient flow and opportunities for CE are highlighted in this role. Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, and creating comprehensive treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Dental degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Active state dental license.
- Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
- Malpractice insurance coverage in place.
- BLS or CPR certification current.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create and review treatment plans with patients.
- Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
