Job summary

42North Dental in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the end-to-end patient care experience, from exam to treatment delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will join a practice with a strong patient flow and ongoing CE opportunities. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of care, educating patients, and collaborating with specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education

Education
