The role requires graduation from an approved dental school, PA Board license, and the ability to operate within a Civil Service framework.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.
• License to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
• PA residency requirement is waived for this title.

Responsibilities

• Examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and provide preventive and restorative treatments.
• Perform fillings, extractions, minor oral surgeries, and take x-rays as needed.
• Fit, adjust, and finish dentures and other corrective devices.
• Contribute clinical input to ISPs and share information with medical team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and assist in reviewing dental policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to dental assistants and deliver in-service training to staff.

Education
