Job summary

42North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA seeks a part-time General Dentist to manage the full patient experience from exams to treatment delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Flexible scheduling supports part-time clinicians. The Dentist will promote oral health, diagnose conditions, educate patients on options, create and review treatment plans, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state dental license
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented
• BLS or CPR certification current

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
