Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our team in Hollidaysburg, PA. The dentist will manage the complete patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-house specialties and collaborative care with the team.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, create treatment plans, review records and radiographs, and perform procedures to maintain optimal oral health.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Active dental license in the state.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
