Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist to join our team in a part-time capacity, delivering comprehensive patient care from exams to treatment planning. The role covers in-office services across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics as part of a full patient-care experience.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Documented Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review patient records and interprete x-rays and tests.
• Monitor development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and oral tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
