Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Dentis t to join our team and provide the full patient experience from exam through treatment. Our practice includes in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics in a supportive environment with strong patient flow.

The role offers a part-time schedule with two Saturdays per month (7AM-12PM) and opportunities for continuing education, including Harvard Rounds Network events at our established practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Malpractice insurance proof

BLS or CPR certification
